GOLD FILLED VS PLATED
• Gold plated is the cheaper alternative, but has a VERY thin layer of gold. It is also more "yellow" than gold filled. You cannot shower with gold plated items or they WILL tarnish.
• Gold filled is the next best option to solid gold. 1/20th of the weight is real gold. It has 100x more real gold than gold plated. Gold filled jewelry can last a lifetime with proper care.
